Ex Lakehead player Jeff Adduono scored a goal in the Thunder Bay Bombers 5-2 round robin loss Wednesday night to the Montmagny Sentinelles at the Allan Cup Canadian Senior Men's hockey championships in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. Joe Ritson added the Bombers other goal. Adduono's goal was set up by fellow Lakehead alumnus Robert Hillier. Ex Thunderwolves netminder Cory McEachran was between the pipes for the Bombers and turned aside 19 Montmagny shots. Thunder Bay outshot Montmagny 37-23.

Patrick Gingras notched two of Montmagny's goals while singles came from Pascal Bernard, Kevin Poulin, and David Beaudry. Thunder Bay has a 0-2 record after round robing play in Division 1 and will play Friday at 6:00pm ESTin a quarter-final matchup against the second place team from Division 2; either the Horse Lake Thunder, the Lloyminster Border Kings, or the Can Am Cobras.
