Lakehead Thunderwolves senior goaltender Alex Dupuis (Thunder Bay, ON) is the winner of the Molson Cup trophy for the 2012-13 hockey season.

Dupuis is only the second Lakehead goaltender to win the Molson Cup since Grant McCune (Sherwood Park, AB) did it in 2005-06.

Finishing behind Dupuis in second place in the Molson Cup standings is fifth-year senior forward Adam Sergerie (Thunder Bay, ON), followed in third position by senior forward Matt Caria (Sault St. Marie, ON). All three players will have their names inscribed on the trophy.

Molson Cup points are awarded to players that are selected as the Molson Three Stars after every Thunderwolves hockey home game. Five points are awarded for a first star selection, three points for a second star, and two points for a third star.

The point totals for the top three finishers in the Molson Cup race for the 2012-13 are:
1.Alex Dupuis 30 points
2.Adam Sergerie 23 points
3.Matt Caria 16 points

Dupuis will be awarded the Molson Cup in a pre-game ceremony that will include the top three finishers before Lakeheads first home playoff game on February 15.
