Ex Lakehead Thunderwolves netminder Cory McEachran turned aside 34 shots as he led his Thunder Bay Bombers to a 5-0 win in an Allan Cup Quarter-Final knockout game against the host Lloydminster Border Kings Friday night in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. McEachran was named Thunder Bay's player of the game for his excellent performance between the pipes. Lloydminster outshot Thunder Bay 34-28 in the game.
Ex Thunderwolf Craig Priestlay picked up an assist. Kevin Hoogsteen led Thunder Bay with twogoals while singles came from Barry Mckinlay, Steve Dumonski, and Mike Figliomeni. Thunder Bay advances to Saturday's semi-final vs. the Theo Fleury led Horse Lake Thunder with game time at 6:00 pm EST.
