Windsor forward Kyle Trudell's four-goal performance gave his Windsor Lancers a 7-2 win and a weekend sweep over the No. 5 Lakehead Thunderwolves Saturday night in Windsor. Windsor also defeated Lakehead 3-2 Friday night. The loss puts Lakehead's OUA record at 10-4-0-0 (18-12-1-1 overall) while Windsor's OUA mark goes to 7-6-1 and makes the battle for the OUA Far West division a very close one indeed. Lakehead's goals came from Hugo Lehoux (his second of the weekend) and Brad Priestlay. Windsor's other goals came from Jordie Preston, Alex White, and Darrell Parsons. Windsor outshot Lakehead 37-18 in the game. Lakehead sees action again next weekend when they host divisional opponents and No. 9 Waterloo Warriors for two crucial OUA West Division games.
