Wolves Stay at No. 9 in CIS Top 10

(CIS: Ottawa)  The Lakehead Thunderwolves men’s hockey team remained at No. 9 in this week’s CIS Top 10 Poll.  Alberta, Moncton, and McGill remained at spots 1 to 3 while Saskatchewan moved up to No. 4 and UNB dropped to No. 5.  UQTR moved up to No. 6 while St. FX dropped to No. 7, Calgary remained at No. 8 and UBC moved into the No. 10 spot.  UBC is the newcomer to the Top 10 and hasn’t been ranked for quite some time.

Voting is based on a 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 basis, with a 1st place vote worth 10 points. The CIS Men’s Ice Hockey Top Ten Committee is made up of media members from across Canada.

Please note that for the purpose of the CIS Top Ten Rankings, an overtime loss or shootout loss is considered a loss in a team’s record.
