Dear valued Thunderwolves Season-Ticket holder:

As you are likely aware, we are unable to play our first weekend of the year, scheduled for
September 20 and 21 versus Laurentian because of an issue with the cooling system at the Fort William Gardens.

Although our program is negatively impacted financially by these cancellations, in an effort to ensure that our valued and loyal season ticket holders are happy and satisfied, we at Lakehead University Thunderwolves Hockey recognize the importance of offering some form of restitution.

Using your tickets for the September 20 and 21 games as two “vouchers”, we would like to provide you with the following options.

1. During the 2019-2020 regular season, exchange your two vouchers for any two regular-season game tickets at the Fort William Gardens box office.

2. During the 2019-2020 playoffs, exchange your two vouchers for one playoff game ticket at the Fort William Gardens box office.

3. Return your two vouchers to the Fort William Gardens box office and Thunderwolves Hockey will, in turn, donate them to the Special Olympics.

There are two key things to keep in mind:

Do not lose or misplace your game tickets from the cancelled September 20 and 21 games, as those tickets are now your “two vouchers.”

Please ensure that if you want to exchange your two vouchers, do it well enough in advance to ensure ticket availability.

We would like to thank you for being such loyal and amazing fans.  We apologize for this unfortunate situation and thank you for your patience and understanding.

Yours very truly,

Tom Warden,

Lakehead University Athletics Director
