Lakehead announces roster for 2019-20 season

The Lakehead University Thunderwolves hockey program has finalized the 2019-20 season
roster and the team will carry 26 players consisting of 14 forwards, 9 defencemen and 3 goalies.

The squad is primarily comprised of underclassmen with only 2 fifth-year seniors and 2 seniors
on the team, along with 7 juniors, 6 sophomores, and 9 freshmen.

The 14 forwards are senior Jordan Larson; juniors Daniel Del Paggio, Brett Wolframe, Josh
Laframboise, Scott Gall and Cooper Leitch; sophomores Tomas Soustal, Jordan King, Dexter
Kuczek and Daniel McKitrick; and freshmen Greg Smith, Geoff Dempster, Tucker Scantlebury,
and Brendan Martin.

The 9 defencemen are fifth-year senior Callum Fryer; senior Patrick Murphy; juniors Aaron
Wesley-Chisel and Joseph Leonidas; sophomore Caleb Boman; and freshmen Taylor Egan,
Tyler Jette, Troy Williams and Kyle Auger.

The 3 goalies are fifth-year senior Nic Renyard, sophomore Brandon Bodnar and freshman
Brock Aiken. NCAA transfer Blake Weyrick will redshirt this season and be eligible to play next
fall.
