With several non-local Thunder Bay North Stars home for the holidays and unable to return on time for the Christmas Challenge, Thunderwolves and North Stars’ Head Coaches Andrew Wilkins and Rob DeGagne have agreed that several Thunderwolves’ players will line up with the North Stars in an effort to level out the competitive balance.

With 26 players on the Wolves’ roster, this will also allow everyone to get back on the ice after a layoff of over a month.

The Thunderwolves will wear royal blue jerseys and the North Stars will wear white.  Lakehead players joining the North Stars roster will wear their white Thunderwolves jerseys in order to be easily identified.

The Christmas Challenge will take place at the Fort William Gardens on December 29th and 30th with the opening face-off set for 7:00 PM on both nights.
