Ainsworth signs with pro team in Hungary

The Lakehead Thunderwolves hockey program is proud to announce that former Lakehead forward Kelin Ainsworth has signed on to play professional hockey for the Fehervari Titanok in Hungary for the 2017-18 season.

Ainsworth played four seasons at Lakehead after one year at Lake Superior State of the NCAA. He led the Wolves in scoring last season with 39 points, won the Molson Cup for collecting the most three stars of the game points and was also named the team's most valuable player. Kelin tallied 48 goals and 71 assists for 119 points in 140 games played over his career at Lakehead.

Ainsworth graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree as well as a Masters of Business Administration.
