Lakehead Thunderwolves hockey has announced the 2018-19 schedule, and will open the season at home on September 21-22 with a two-game series versus the Lethbridge Pronghorns of the Canada West Conference.

The Thunderwolves will remain at home the following weekend to host the Nipissing Lakers, and then hit the road to take on the Bemidji State Beavers of the NCAA on October 6.

Lakehead will kick off OUA conference play at home against two different opponents on back-to-back nights; the Western Mustangs on October 12 and the Windsor Lancers on October 13. Other league foes visiting the Fort William Gardens this season include the RMC Paladins, York Lions and Ryerson Rams in the fall term; with the Waterloo Warriors, Laurier Golden Hawks and Guelph Gryphons visiting during the winter semester.

The Thunderwolves will take on the Laurentian Voyageurs in the Christmas Challenge on December 28-29.

Lakehead will finish out the regular season on the road when the Wolves tangle with the Western Mustangs on February 8-9 in London.

The OUA playoffs are set to begin on February 13.

All Lakehead home games will once again start at 7:00 p.m.  The complete schedule can be viewed on the team’s official website, thunderwolveshockey.com.

Season tickets will go on sale at the Gardens box office in mid-August.
