The Lakehead Thunderwolves hockey team released its 2012-13 schedule today, and will open the season at home versus the University of Ottawa on September 21-22.
Other opponents visiting the Fort William Gardens this season include Brock, York, Guelph, Ontario Tech and Waterloo. The Wolves will also host the final four teams from last seasons OUA playoffs - McGill, Western Ontario, UQTR and Windsor.
Windsor eliminated Lakehead in last years OUA West Division semi-finals, and UQTR, Western Ontario and McGill all qualified for the CIS National Championships in Fredericton, New Brunswick last spring.
As eventual West Division champions, Western Ontario hosted the OUA Queens Cup Championship game last March - a contest which was won by the East Division Champion McGill Redmen for the third year in a row. McGill also went on to capture the CIS National Championship two weeks later.
Season tickets will go on sale at the Fort William Gardens box office in mid-August.
