2023-24 Lakehead Schedule Released

The Thunderwolves will once again see play against the OUA East division this season as well as returning to a 28 game schedule.

The Home opener for the Wolves will be on Oct 13th-14th weekend against long time rivals the Waterloo Warriors.

In November the Wolves will host the Western Mustangs at the hallowed Fort William Gardens.

The Wolves will head to North Bay to play the Nippissing Lakers on Nov 9th-10th. It will be there first regular season meeting since Nov 6th-7th, 2015.

The Wolves travel down to Concordia for a rematch of the bronze medal game last season on Nov 18th. this will be the first regular season match since Nov 8th-9th in the 2019-20 season.

Also in November the Wolves will host the defending Queen's Cup Champions the UQTR Patriotes on Nov 24th. It will be the first time since Oct 20th-21st of the 2017-18 season that they have skated at the Gardens.

The McGill Red Birds make there return to the Gardens as well on Nov 25th for the first time since Nov 15, 2014.

The Wolves will open up the second half at home against the Queen's Gaels and the RMC Paladins on Jan 5th-6th at the Gardens. It will be the first matchup with Queen's since Oct 23rd-24th of the 20-15-16 season at the Gardens. As for the last match up against the Paladins it was Oct 26th-27th of the 2017-18 season at the Gardens.

The Wolves will faceoff against the Ottawa Gee Gee's in Ottawa on Jan 26th. It will be there first meeting since January 13th-14th of the 2016-17 season.

The Wolves also will face for the first time since Jan 8th-9th of the 2015-16 season is the Carleton Ravens on Jan 27th on the road.

The Wolves will faceoff against the Windsor Lancers in a rematch of last seasons OUA West Finals on Feb 2nd-3rd at the Gardens.

They will close out the regular season at home against the Nipissing Lakers on Feb 9th at the Fort William Gardens.

Home game start times will be at 7pm. 

This season will be action packed from start to finish. You most definitely will not want to miss a game. All road games can be viewed on OUA TV!
