Lakehead Thunderwolves Hockey is very happy to announce that all 2006-07 away games will again be carried live by 580 CKPR AM Radio in Thunder Bay and on the internet by logging onto www.ckpr.com. This will be the fifth consecutive season that the station has carried the play-by-play action.

Once again, CKPR's News/Sports Director Bryan Wyatt will be calling the live play-by-play on the road as the Thunderwolves continue their quest to repeat as O.U.A champions. Thunder Bay Television reporter Jonas Gilbart will handle the pre and post-game shows, as well as the intermissions.

Thunderwolves Hockey Executive Director Jason Mallon said CKPR continues to be a great partner for Lakehead Hockey. Dougall Media, 580 CKPR Radio, and Bryan Wyatt have all been fantastic supporters of Thunderwolves Hockey and were really glad to have them back with us for another season of great broadcasts.

The first broadcast of the season is set for Friday, October 13th in Waterloo as the Thunderwolves will take on the Warriors. This season will see the station carry fourteen regular season road games as well as all of the road playoff action.
