In contrast to the week before, this was a relatively light schedule in the Atlantic University Hockey Conference with the focus on the first place match on Sunday night.

On the eve of Remembrance Day the Prince Edward Island Panthers were left with lots to contemplate Friday as they were completely outplayed by the St. Thomas Tommies in STU's first game this season at the refurbished Lady Beaverbrook Rink. Tommies back-up goalie rookie Matt Davis (Harvey, NB) was hardly tested and Panthers veteran Paul Drew (Merlin, ON) didn't look sharp and the 6-0 final score is an accurate indicator of the game, as is the fact that STU's fourth line scored the first two goals of the game. Player of the game Justin Roy (also from the village of Harvey, NB) had a goal and an assist and first-year defenceman Ian Turner (Belleville, ON) has two goals to lead the Tommies in the only game played Friday.

On Saturday UPEI continued their Fredericton visit as they traveled up College Hill to face the University of New Brunswick Varsity Reds. There was no scoring in the first period in a quiet period that only saw eight shots for UNB and only one for UPEI. At 11:11 of the second period Andre Howard (Howards Cove, PE) banged in the powerplay rebound past Reg Bourcier (Keewatin, ON) to give the Panthers the short-lived lead. Eighty-one seconds later defenceman Craig Perry (Elnora, AB) scored the second goal of his career as he banged in the ugly rebound past Panther goalie Paul Drew. The game stayed tied until 7:26 of the third period when Jesse Ferguson (Langley, BC) ripped a shot from the point that went off Drews stick and deflected into the net for the eventual game winner. With the Panthers pressing at the end of the game John-Scott Dickson (Mississauga, ON) corralled a puck in the corner after Bourcier made a big save, banked the shot off the boards and watched it go the length of the ice and have just enough momentum to enter the empty Panthers net with less than two seconds left on the clock. Shots favoured UNB 29-16, but it was a much better effort from the Panthers who rebounded nicely from the drubbing the night before.

In Halifax, the CIS's top scoring linemates Dan Rudiseula (St. Catharines, ON) and Marc Rancourt (Gloucester, ON) combined for five points as the Saint Mary's Huskies defeated the visiting StFX X-Men 4-2. In Wolfville, the struggle continued for the visiting Dalhousie Tigers as the Acadia Axemen scored three first period goals and cruised to the 5-1 victory. Matt Quinn (Timmins, ON) had two goals and an assist to pace the Axemen as they dominated the Tigers 40-22 on the shot count.

In the rare Sunday matchup the rested Universit de Moncton Aigles Bleus were hoping to avenge their self-described worst game of the season the last time the two teams met as they visited rival UNB and their 2248 fans at the Aitken University Centre. There was no scoring in the first period, thanks in no small part to UNB goalie Michael Ouzas (Hamilton, ON) who faced 16 shots in the first 20 minutes. Just over five minutes into the middle frame V-Red Rob Pearce (Fredericton, NB) redirected a Nick Marach (Delta, BC) pass from the corner between the pads of Monctons Eric Lafrance (Hull, QU). At 11:40 Moncton tied the game when Rmi Doucet (Petit-Rocher, NB) was left alone in the high slot when UNB made a bad line change and his hard low shot beat Ouzas through the wickets. Then at 14:59 UdeM took the lead when Karl Fournier (Ile-Bizard, QU) took advantage of sloppy defensive coverage and fired a shot through a screen that beat Ouzas. Ouzas kept it from getting worse at the end of the period as faced a flurry of shots on the Moncton powerplay.

In the third period UNB had several powerplay opportunities but couldnt cash in. At 16:56 Moncton took advantage of their eighth man advantage situation to score the only powerplay goal of the night as Pierre-Andr Bureau (St-Prosper, QU) completed the fine play of his Tro
