Lakehead concludes season opening road trip getting edged by Brock in OT 3-2.
Brock would open the scoring when Riley Gannon would fire home a pass from Matthew Duarte from the top of the left circle glove side on Christian Cicigoi.
Lakehead would answer back with Nicolas De Grazia sprining Keighan Gerrie on a breakaway and Gerrie would make no mistake finding the back of the net.
Lakehead would take the lead shorty after when Troy Williams would step into a lose puck at the top of the zone and blast it on net and Griffen Fox was johnny on the spot to knock in the rebound past Badgers netminder Connor Ungar.
Late in the 2nd Brock would tie the game up Jacob Roach would knock a pass attempt by Joe Mack down and cut in from the right side and slide it 5 hole on a sliding Cicigoi.
The contest would need overtime and Ed McNiell would take a slashing penalty to send Brock to the power play where Jared Marino would slip a pass through to Zach Taylor would would blast a one timer 5 hole on Cicigoi to seal the victory for the Badgers 3-2.
Christian Cicigoi would stop 16 of 19 shots he faced.
