Lakehead Thunderwolves Head Coach Pete Belliveau and Captain Joel Scherban are fast approaching important individual milestones.

Belliveau now has 96 wins in less than four seasons, which ties him for the All-Time Lakehead wins mark. Belliveau is tied with Lakehead Norwester Head Coach Hank Akerval who posted a 96-86-6 record in five seasons in 1968-69 and from 1971-75. Belliveau now has a Thunderwolves career record of 96-53-9.

Scherban is also approaching a big milestone, the Career 200 point mark. Scherban currently has 192 points on 75 goals and 117 assists. He is the Thunderwolves All-Time leading scorer and leads the team in all scoring categories and would be the first Thunderwolves player to hit the 200-point mark. Scherban is followed by Jeff Richards with 72 goals and 83 assists for 155 points. Chris Shaffer is third with 148 points on 70 goals and 78 assists.

Scherban is now fifth All-Time for all Lakehead hockey scorers as he is following four Lakehead Norwesters who each broke the 200 point plateau; Murray Smith is No. 1 with 226 (92 g, 134a), Vince Fryia is No. 2 with 208 (81g, 127a in three seasons), and tied at third are Larry Zulianello (97g, 107a) and George Letowski (80g, 124a) with 204 points each.
