The No. 5 Lakehead Thunderwolves welcome the Brock Badgers to Thunder Bay for a two-game series this weekend. Lakehead is 14-6 in OUA play and 19-10-2 overall, good for second place in the OUA Far West Division. Lakehead has clinched second place for the playoffs and home ice advantage for the divisional semi-finals against Windsor. The Thunderwolves are coming off a split against Guelph last weekend.

Brock is 8-12 in OUA play and 12-14-2 overall, good for third place in the OUA Mid West Division, three points ahead of last place Guelph for the final playoff spot. Brock is coming off a win over Waterloo and a close loss to Western.

Lakehead Head Coach Pete Belliveau says Brock will be fighting for their shot at the playoffs. "We will be playing a hard working, well coached team who will intent on taking home valuable points for their quest in securing a playoff position in the Mid-West Division."

Series History:
This will be the third and fourth meetings between the two teams. Last season, Lakehead won one and the teams played to a draw in the other. LakeheadoutscoredBrock 7-4 in the two games.

The two teams take to the ice at the Fort William Gardens in Thunder Bay Friday night at 7:30 and Sunday afternoon at 1:00.
