Lakehead Thunderwolves Hockey and Head Coach Don McKee are very happy to announce that the second Thunderwolves Hockey School will be taking place in Fort Frances, Ontario from July 28 to August 1.

This years school in Fort Frances will feature top notch instructors as well as a couple of the Thunderwolves stars. The camps are aimed at boys and girls ages 6-17 and for all skill levels. The three morning sessions will focus on skating, shooting, and stick handling which will help develop skills for beginners to All Stars. Instructors will provide small group & individual instruction.

This years instructors are Head Coach McKee and Dave Bragnalo, who has coached teams at many levels (Thunder Bay Flyers, Thunder Bay Twins). Bragnalo played NCAA hockey for North Dakota. Joining McKee and Bragnalo are Wayne Strachan, Head Coach of the Fort Frances Sabres SIJHL team, and Phil McKee, Executive Director of the Ontario Hockey Federation; and son of Coach McKee.

Coach McKee is also very excited that Christian Bragnalo will be joining this years instructors squad. Christian, son of Dave, is the Head Coach of the Midget Program at St. Marys College in Minnesota; one of the prime hockey academies in North America that trains elite hockey players from across the USA and Canada. Christian played NCAA hockey for New Hampshire. He will bring a great deal of expertise to the high performances programs for the Atoms, Pee Wees, Bantams, and Midgets at this years school in Fort Frances.

Two standout players from the Fort Frances High School Muskies will also be on hand; Joe Basaraba (2008 2nd Round Selection of OHLs Erie Otters) and Dustin Brown. Young players are in for a real treat as rounding out the instructors are Lakehead Thunderwolves Captain Andrew Brown and Wolves goaltender Chris Whitley. Whitley was named CIS First Team All Canadian, OUA MVP, and an OUA First Team All Star. Brown leads the Wolves by example and led the CIS and OUA in game winning goals this past season.

Spaces are still available but the registration deadline is July 21. For more information and to register online; go to www.thunderwolveshockey.com.
