Chris Shaffer Re-Signs with CHL's Steelhounds

Ex-Lakehead Thunderwolves Star Chris Shaffer has signed up for a second season with the Youngstown Steelhounds of the CHL. In his rookie season last year, the Dryden, Ontario native led the Steelhounds in rookie scoring with 10 goals and 12 assists in only 42 games.

Shaffer played four seasons for Lakehead and recorded 69 goals and 74 assists (143 points) in 135 games which ranks him fourth all time in Lakehead Thunderwolves career scoring. He is also tied for first all time in penalties (108) and is first all time in penalty minutes with 283. Shaffer signed a one year deal with the Steelhounds.
