All six finalists for this year's CIS National Championships have been decided; Moncton, UNB, and St. FX from the AUS, UQTR and Laurier from the OUA, and Saskatchewan from Canada West. Seedings should be coming soon from the CIS.
Thunderwolveshockey.com predicts the pools will be Moncton, Laurier, andSt. FXin one pool and Saskatchewan, UQTR, and UNB in the other. Rankings should be Moncton, Saskatchewan, UQTR, UNB, Laurier, and St. FX but because of the usual 1,4,6 and 2,3,5 pools; that would mean three AUS teams in one pool so our guess is that Laurier and ST.FX would switch pools. Or, Laurier could be ranked 4 and UNB could be ranked 5 and the results would be the same. It is always goodto be the No. 1 ranked team going into the nationals and, like last year in Edmonton, this year's hosts are also No. 1.
