We played our best game on Friday vs the York Lions in terms of Total Game Intensity for three periods against a very good opponent. Our forechecking was intense, giving us opportunities to get quality shots on Dolson throughout the game.

The team played so well that the coaching staff decided to leave the line-up for the second game on Saturdayand the players responded very well against a charged up opponent.

Our specialties teams (Power Play and Penalty Killing) were excellent over the weekend, and our best penalty killer was goaltender Grant McCune.

We will now prepare for our last home stand before the Christmas Break against the Royal Military College Paladins of Kingston. We haven't played this team in two years, but we know that they will be prepared and give us a very good series. The last time weplayed them in 2001-2002, the two games went to the third period before the games were decided.

We want to thank the Thunder Bay Fans for their unbelievable support this weekend....3710 per game is great support for any team...and we do have the best CIS fans in Canada!

THANK YOU!
