We played two different teams on the weekend...actually, it was the same team, but they changed their style from Friday to Saturday so it seemed like two different teams.

On Friday, RMC played us in a run and gun game, where we were able to skate and shoot against their Man to Man coverage and all our four lines were able to get quality shots at their goaltender.

Saturday's game was really different as RMC went to a high trap in order to slow our speed in the neutral zone and this tactic was really efficient, as we could only dump it in and fight through their coverage. This made the game very close as the scores were 2-1 after the 1st period, 4-2 after two periods, and we scored a late goal for a hard fought 5-2 victory.

RMC is a well-coached team who followed their game plan to perfection. They showed lots of grit and hard work ethic, and they also showed lots of class in their clean, hard-hitting play throughout the weekend.

The first half of our regular home season is now over, and on behalf of our players, coaches, and trainers we want to say a big Thank You to all our fans for their incredible and continuous support. We average over 3200 fans per gameUnbelievable!

Merry Christmas and Safe Holidays to all!
See you at our second annual Bell Varsity Cup Tournament December 27-30th.
