Senior goaltender Alex Dupuis is currently leading the Lakehead Thunderwolves hockey team in the Molson Cup standings heading into the Christmas break. Dupuis is on top with 24 points, followed by a pair of sophomore forwards; Thomas Frazee and last years winner Mike Hammond are tied for second-place with 11 points each. Freshman forward Luke Judson is in fourth-place with 9 points.

Molson Cup points are awarded to the three stars after every Thunderwolves home game. 5 points are awarded for a first-star selection, with 3 points for a second-star, and 2 points for a third.

As the mid-season leader, Dupuis will receive a prize pack courtesy of Molson Canada.

The Molson Cup trophy will be awarded to the regular season points-leader at the Wolves first home playoff game in February. The top three players in the Molson Cup final standings will each have their names inscribed on the trophy.
