Former Lakehead captain Adam Sergerie has signed a contract to play professional hockey in Germany for the Erfurt Black Dragons.
The Thunder Bay native graduated with a degree in Education, but will put his teaching plans on hold for now. He will be leaving for Germany in early September.
Sergerie finished his five-year career at Lakehead with 55 goals and 70 assists for 125 points.
