Forward Trevor Gamache has decided to return to Lakehead and play for the Thunderwolves for another season.

The Longlac, ON native graduated with a degree in Education this spring, but will be enrolled in courses next year to upgrade his teaching qualifications.

Ill be returning to Lakehead for a fourth and final year, and Im excited to get the season underway. Ive opted to return to upgrade my qualifications as a teacher, and hope to teach occasionally during the season, Gamache said. In talking with Coach McDonald, we both have high hopes for the squad. Ill bring the same leadership, passion and energy to the team as I have in the past, and I look forward to the challenge of bringing a winning environment back to Thunderwolves hockey.

Despite missing 9 games, Gamache scored 12 goals and added 9 assists for the Wolves last season, and was named the teams most valuable player at the annual Lakehead University Athletics banquet this past April.
