Hogg & McPherson lead Molson Cup Standings

At the halfway point of the 2009-10 season, forwards Kris Hogg of Sicamous, B.C. and Brock McPherson of Brampton, Ontario lead the race for the Molson Cup. The trophy is awarded annually to theplayer with the most accumulated points from Molson 3-Star selections during home games at the Fort William Gardens.

With 12 points and two first star honours apiece, Hogg and McPherson have been consistent performers in front of the Lakehead faithful and will each receive prize packs courtesy of Molson Canada. At the end of the Wolves season, the leading point-getter will receive the Molson Cup during a pre-game ceremony at Lakeheads first home playoff game.

Hogg, a junior, is off to a solid start to the year netting 10 goals and eight assists for 18 points sixth on the team. McPherson, a senior, is theWolves scoring leader with 16 goals, 15 assists and 31 points as he looks to be the first repeat winner in the team's history.
