The annual Lakehead Thunderwolves CIBC Skate with Santa and the Wolves event, held Dec. 8th at the Fort William Gardens, was another great success! About 500 kids of all ages laced up the skates and took the opportunity to chat and skate with their favourite Lakehead athletes as well as meet Jolly Old St. Nick himself!
Everyone in attendance had a great time skating, getting autographs from their favourite Lakehead athletes, and supporting a great cause. People attending brought non-perishable food items for the Salvation Army and about 8 bins full of food were collected for local people in need. Lakehead Athletics and Thunderwolves Hockey would like to thank all who attended and wish you and your family a very Happy Holidays!
