Lakehead Thunderwolves sophomore forward Luke Judson has decided to leave school to pursue a career in professional hockey. The Emo, ON native has signed with the San Francisco Bulls of the East Coast Hockey League.

Wolves Head Coach Bill McDonald said that Luke informed me today that he will be leaving the program to get a head-start on his professional career. We wish him well.

I would like to thank Tom Warden, Jason Mallon, Bill McDonald, and the rest of the Thunderwolves staff for their support this past year, Judson said. Im proud to have played in front of the best fans in the CIS at Lakehead. Ive turned down pro opportunities in the past because I know the importance of education, but San Francisco is a perfect fit and a great opportunity for me to contribute to their team immediately. Im looking forward to the next step in my life, and I wish the Wolves the best of luck in the future.
