Lakehead University and the Thunderwolves hockey team are pleased to announce that goaltender Devin Green will be joining the program.
The 61, 170-pound native of Calgary, Alberta played three years for the Lloydminster Bobcats of the AJHL. He posted impressive numbers in 49 starts last season, recording 7 shutouts with a 2.23 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage.
Devin is ready to take on the challenges that lie ahead. I am both excited and honored to announce my commitment to Lakehead University as Im eager to see what opportunities await me, Green said. He went on to add, Im looking forward to becoming a member of the Thunderwolves, and Im grateful for my parents, coaches, teammates and everyone who has been a part of my life that helped me along the way."
Green is the third former Bobcat to commit to Lakehead in this recruiting class, following defencemen Tyler Kunz and Linden Springer.
