Lakehead Athletics and Thunderwolves Hockey are very happy to announce that they have joined forces with Stretch Internet of Mesa, Arizona to provide Lakehead sports fans in Thunder Bay, across Canada, and around the world with Stretchs exciting eScore service.

This unique service is free for all Lakehead students, staff, and fans who can go to either Lakehead Athletics site (www.thunderwolves.ca, www.thunderwolveshockey.com), click on the eScore logo, subscribe for free, and receive team news, player info, general news, and scores directly to their email address or text messaged to their cell phone. Fans have the choice of subscribing to their email address, cell phone, or both, and they also have the option to select as many teams (or all teams) as they would like to receive eScore updates on.

Thunderwolves Hockey Executive Director Jason Mallon said eScore is another way Lakehead Hockey wants to provide the best possible service to Lakehead fans. eScore is a great way for us to interact, update, and keep in touch with our incredible fans. It gives us another tool to help build and strengthen our fantastic relationship with Lakehead hockey fans for years to come.

The Lakehead eScore service will also give Lakehead students, staff, and the general public the option to get up to date info on Campus Recreation, Lakeheads Sports Medicine Clinic, and special announcements.

Lakehead Partnership Development Manager Dan Zapior said eScore will give Lakehead students and fans a fantastic new resource to keep up with their favourite teams. eScore will give Lakehead University students, fans, and alumni a fantastic new resource to follow all the action with their favorite teams.

Stretch Internet President Ryan Ermeling said his company is looking forward to working with Lakehead. We're excited to partner with Lakehead University and provide a unique, far-reaching solution for their athletic community and large and enthusiastic fan base. Lakehead is well ahead of the curve in terms of utilizing new technologies such as internet broadcasting and they are just the second CIS university to utilize our services.
