The Lakehead Thunderwolves were blanked 2-0 by the York Lions.
York wasted little time getting on the board taking only 1:20 into the period for Harry Clark to find the back of the net for the early 1-0 lead. Lakehead would get their chances in the period but Matt Tovell would keep them off the score sheet.
The second period would not see any scoring and the only scoring in the third period would come from York's Harry Clark with his second of the the game into Lakehead's empty net to give the Lions the 2-0 win.
