The Lakehead Thunderwolves men's hockey team's present coach Don McKee and former coach Pete Belliveau both stand high in the list of CIS men's hockey career coaching regular season and playoff wins leaders.

McKee, who also coached at Waterloo, stands third among active coaches and seventh all time in career wins with 261. Belliveau, who now coaches at Dalhousie and coached at Moncton and Windsor, is fourth among active coaches and ninth all time with 255.
