The Thunderwolves where edged 4-3 by Toronto Metropolitian Bold.
The Bold jumped out to a 2 goal lead with goals coming from Kevin Gursoy and Connor Bowie in the first period.
Max Wright stopped 14 of 16 shots in the period.
The Wolves would respond midway through the second when Olivier Pouliot would find the twine off of a Keighan Gerrie pass.
TMU would answer right back when Kevin Gursoy would wrist a shot past Max Wright to restore the 2 goal lead.
Josh Van Unen would cut into the lead ripping a shot past Kai Edmonds glove side.
The Bold would restore the 2 goal lead when Kevin Gursoy would complete the hat trick late in the period to send the teams to the break with the Bold ujp 4-2.
Lakehead would cut the Bold lead to 4-3 when Nicholas DeGrazia would one time a Colin Van Den Hurk pass top shelf past Edmonds. The Wolves would get no closer though as the Bold would hold on to win.
