Lakehead headed into the Christmas break with a 3-2 loss to Brock Badgers Sunday afternoon.
Brock got out to a 2-0 lead in the first period with 2 goals from Zack Stringer. Lakehead would get on the board just over midway throught the period when Olivier Pouliot rifled a shot home.to cut the lead to 2-1.
Lakehead would tie the game up in the 3rd period on the powerplay off the stick of Caden Drury. But Brock would take the lead with just over 5 minutes to go in the game off a shot from Rylan Thiessen and would hold off Lakehead late to win 3-2.
Christian Cicigoi took the loss in net and Will Hambley would pick up the win for Brock
