The Blues used a 2 goal third period to sink the Thunderwolves. The Blues were led by Cole Purboo with a 2 goal outing and Ryan Barbossa with 3 asissts on the night. Ross Krieger and Eddie Yan scored the other Blues goals.
Lakehead's Kevin Stiles ended Jett Alexander's shut out bid in the 2nd buring a Griffen Fox pass from the side of the net.
Lakehead's Christian Cicigoi stopped 22 of 26 shots in the loss and the Blues Jette Alexander stopped 27 of 28 shots for Toronto.
Lakehead slips to 5th in the conference with the loss sitting with a 6-5-2 record
Lakehead returns home this weekend to face the Windsor Lancers on Friday and the Waterloo Warriors on Saturday. Both nights game time is 7pm.
Saturday's game is also the Thunderwolves Annual Teddy Bear Toss game so bring those teddy bears to the game and when the Wolves score their first goal of the game you can then let the bears rain down on the ice. The teddy bears will be distributed to multiple children's charities in the community.
