The Lakehead Thunderwolves are hitting the road to play two games against the Manitoba Bisons this weekend.
Lakehead is looking to add a couple more pre season wins this weekend after sweeping the York Lions last weekend in Nipigon to kick off the pre season.
The Thunderwolves last season split their 2 pre season games against the Bisons with a 4-2 win and a 3-2 loss. Lakehead is 16-9-1 all-time against the Bisons in Non Conference play. The Wolves have out scored the Bisons 93-82 in the 26 previous meetings.
The Wolves trio of Dalton MacGillivray, Caden Drury and Olivier Pouliot look to continue their strong offensive start as they combined for 5 goals and 5 asissts for 10 points last weekend. Christian Cicigoi and Carson Cherapak are looking to continue their strong start to the preseason as well after picking up wins against York.
Game time on Friday September 26th is 7pm eastern and Saturday September 27 is 11am eastern.
