Lakehead is swept by TMU.
The Thunderwolves where not at there best with a 14.5 hour turn around between games.
TMU came out flying in the first period garnering multiple scoring opportunities early on. It took until the 6 minute mark to open the scoring when TMU's Connor Bowie wrist shot beat Brock Aiken glove side.
TMU would go up by two after Kyle Boller would net his 4th goal of the weekend on the power play with a one timer that beat Aiken 5 hole.
The Bold would end the period scoring 2 goals in a 8 second span off the sticks off Jesse Barwell and Dustin Hutton.
Lakehead would get on the board in the 2nd on the power play when Colin Van Den Hurk would be sprung by netminder Max Wright and slip past the Bold defenders and flip the puck past Kia Edmonds to break the shut out bid.
TMU would round out the scoring for the day when Jesse Barwell would get his 2nd of the afternoon the seal the game and make the final 5-1.
