Lakehead opens season in Windsor

Lakehead looks to rebound from a disapointing 2021-22 season as they start the season in Windsor. After playing six exhibition games the Wolves players are eager to get into "real" game action.

Lakehead will be starting this season with a roster consisting of 9 freshmen, 14, Sophomores and 6 seniors. With a young and talented team this season brings expectations of improvement from last season and more success on the ice.

Lakehead will look to the leaderhip of captian Tyler Jette and assistant captian Kyle Auger. as well as senior players Geoff Dempster, Troy Williams, Brock Aiken and Greg Smith this season.

Lakehead's goaltending duties will be split between Freshmen Christian Cicigoi, Sophomore Max Wright and Senior Brock Aiken.

Joe Mack lead the way in the preseason offensively with 8pts and looks to carry his production into the regular season.

The Thunderwolves have a lot of offensive potential this season with a deep and talented roster of hungry players.

Windsor's roster is a mix of 7 freshmen, 7, sophmores, 3 juniors and 9 seniors. They are lead by senior's Sean Olse and captian Mason Kohn.

In net for Windsor are sophomore's Nathan Torchia, Ryan Polidori and Freshman Dakota Lund-Cornish.

Game time for both games is 7:30pm on Friday October 14 and Saturday October 15th.
