Lakehead starts their two game road trip with a 4-2 win over the Guelph Gryphons.
Lakehead went into the road trip looking to build on last Friday's win and they did just that.
Guelph broke the ice early in the first when Jack Wismer would slip one past Christian Cicigoi. Lakehead would answer back with goals from Malte Hasselgren and Liam Whittaker to give the Wolves a 2-1 after one.
Lakehead would add to the lead in the second when Malte Hasselgren would notch his second of the game for a 3-1 lead.
Guelph would get one back in the third on the power play off of the stick of Nathan Allensen.But the Wolves would seal the game with an empty netter from Nicholas De Grazia.
