Lakehead Ranked No. 5

The Lakehead Thunderwolves were ranked No. 5 in this week's CIS Top 10 Hockey Poll, moving up one position from last week. The Thunderwolves have been ranked in all 10 of the CIS Top 10 Polls so far this season. This is the second highest ranking that the team has achieved this season, following the No. 3 ranking they were given in the first poll of the season.

There was a lot of movement in this week's poll. Western moved up from No. 4 to No. 3, UQTR from No.3 to No. 2, Saskatchewan dropped from No. 2 to No. 4, StFX dropped to No. 10 from No. 7, UNB dropped from No. 5 to No. 8, Calgary moved up to No. 7 from No. 8, and McGill moved to No. 6 from No. 9. Saint Mary's dropped out of the Top 10 and Dalhousie entered in the No. 9 position.
