Lakehead Rings in New Year at No. 3

The Lakehead Thunderwolves moved up to No. 3 in this week's first CIS Top 10 poll of the new year. Alberta and UNB remained at No. 1 and No. 2 while Western dropped to No. 4. St. FX is back at No. 8 and the Laurier Golden Hawks came in at No. 10. Lakehead went 4-1-1 over the holiday break in Bell Cup and non-conference play. Lakehead has been ranked in every Top 10 since the beginning of the 2002-2003 season.
