Lakehead skated to a 4-0 victory over the Waterloo Warriors.
The Lakehead Thunderwolves got on the board just past midway through the first period on the powerplay when Luke Janus finished off a beauty pass from Naaman Hofer.
In a chippy second period the Thunderwolves Captian Josh Van Unen would notch a pair of goals and Luke Janus would pick up his second of the game to put the Wolves up 4-0 heading to the third.
The chippiness would continue in the third period which would see both teams getting multiple powerplay opportunities but neither could cash in. The Wolves would out shoot Waterloo 35-22 in the game.
