Lakehead will host the Mantitoba Bisons in the annual Christmas Challenge series.
The Bisons are not having the best of seasons in the Can West Conference as they sit at 2-13-1 at the Christmas break.
The Bisons are led by sophomore F Johnny Hooker with 15 points (10 goals) in 16 games.
In net sophomore Kolby Thorton spotrs a 3.81 GAA and a .901 save percentage with a 0-11 record.
The Thunderwolves hold an 11-8-1 edge in the all time series against the Bisons.
The Wolves also hold a slim edge in all time scoring against the Bisons 75-73.
Game dates and times are Dec 29th and 30th at the Fort William Gardens with game time both nights 7pm.
