Despite falling to Windsor in the OUA West Division finals, Lakehead still has another chance to advance to the University Cup Championships, as this year is the OUAs turn to send a third team to the Nationals.
The Wolves will travel to Ottawa to take on the Carleton Ravens, which lost to McGill in the East Division finals, to see which team will get the final berth in the six-team tourney being held in Saskatoon on March 20-23.
The one-game showdown will be played Saturday night at the Ice House on the Carleton campus, with the opening face-off set for 7:00.
Saskatchewan (host), Alberta (CanWest), Acadia (AUS), Windsor (OUA West) and McGill (OUA East) have already qualified.
