Lakehead University is thrilled to announce the commitment of Thunder Bay native Joshua Lehto to the Lakehead Thunderwolves men's hockey program for the upcoming season.
Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Lehto developed his skills within the Thunder Bay Kings AAA program, before playing junior A hockey in the MJHL & NAHL.
Lehto's junior career is highlighted by significant achievements. He was honored with the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) Sportsmanship Award and earned a spot on the MJHL Second All-Star Team.
Most recently, Lehto played a pivotal role in the Bismarck Bobcats' championship-winning season in the North American Hockey League (NAHL). He led all forwards on his team in scoring, amassing 37 points with an additional 7 in the playoffs which included a crucial goal in the championship game.
