Brock McPherson of mens hockey and Tasia McKenna of womens basketball are this weeks Lakehead Thunderwolves RBC Athletes of the Week. McPherson had a strong home weekend against the Brock Badgers while McKenna was very solid for the Wolves on the road in Kingston this past weekend.

McPherson continued his strong play for the Wolves this weekend as he helped his team gain three out of four possible points against the Brock Badgers at home. The sophomore General Arts student from Brampton, Ontario scored three goals and added two assists in the Wolves 4-1 win and 6-5 OTS loss.
Female: Tasia McKenna: Womens Basketball
The sophomore point guard from Timberlea, Nova Scotia had a fine weekend in Kingston as her team defeated RMC and lost to Queens. The Kinesiology student had 17 points and 4 rebounds in the win over RMC and 21 points and 5 rebounds in the loss to Queens.
