The first year General Arts student is a fast mobile defenseman who can ignite the offense with his end-to-end rushes and hard shot.

MA: What's it like playing in your hometown?
Jacobsen: It's really nice to play in my hometown for a change, because I've been playing out of town for 5 years

MA: How do you compare CIS hockey with OHL hockey?
Jacobsen: I think the hockey is pretty close to the same because lots of players from the OHL and other junior leagues play in the CIS now.

MA: How do you feel about the team's play against Laurier last weekend
Jacobsen: I think the team played well. We executed the system well and got two wins.

MA: How do you think the team has progressed at this point in the season? Any areas to work on?
Jacobsen: The progress at this point is good. I think the more we practice and play together, the better we'll get.

MA: You told me your passion is hockey. If you could play one-on-one hockey against any player in hockey history, who would it be and why?
Jacobsen: I would have to say Wayne Gretzky, he's the best that ever played the game.

MA: What do you really love about playing for the Thunderwolves?
Jacobsen: I love the fact that I can play competitive hockey and get an education. It's also nice that it's in my hometown.

MA: What are your thoughts about the upcoming series against Ryerson
Jacobsen: I haven't heard too much about Ryerson, but I think if we play our game we should do fine.

MA: Do you have any message to the Thunderwolves fans?
Jacobsen: I would just like to say the support that they give us is great, and well appreciated. Thunder Bay has the best fans I've ever seen.
