Laurier 6, Ryerson 2 Laurier was able to win their second game of the season dominating Ryerson 6-2. The Golden Hawks opened the scoring late in the first period as Richard Colwill scored at 19:30 and seventeen seconds later teammate Nick Vukovic scored Laurier's second goal of the game. Ryerson's Chris Sutton assisted with the Rams only two goals in the game but it was not enough as David Brown of the Golden Hawks scored two goals leading the team to a convincing victory.

Laurier 4, Toronto 3

The Toronto Varsity Blues scored three goals in just over six minutes in the final period but it was not enough to beat the Laurier Golden Hawks as they lost 4-3. Captain Bryan Kazarian, scored two of the four goals for Laurier while teammates Chris Di ubaldo and Nick Gibson each contributed a goal in the victory. Laurier's goaltender also played a strong game stopping 47 Blues shots, including 18 in a critical third period. This victory gave Laurier their first win of the season.

Guelph 4, Ryerson 1

Guelph continued their winning ways defeating Ryerson 4-1. The game was scoreless until 7:04 in the second when Gryphon player Jesse Pyatt scored. Ryerson responded with a goal by Rams player Chris Pethick late in the second and they entered the third all tied up. The Gryphons exploded offensively in the third scoring three unanswered goals helping them secure the 4-1 victory.

Waterloo 2, Lakehead 1

Lakehead opened their hockey season with a surprise loss to the Waterloo Warriors. Lakehead player Chris Shaffer scored early in the first period and it remained 1-0 for Lakehead until late in the third when Waterloo scored two goals within one minute of play. Alex MacDonell scored the first goal for the Warriors but it was Doug Spooner who scored the winning goal for the Warriors over a tough Timberwolves team.

Brock 5, RMC 4

Brock needed overtime to win their first game of the season 5-4 over a tough RMC team. The Badgers were winning 4-3 with only 27 seconds left to play when Tyler Middlebrook scored the tying goal for the Paladins. Brock was able to regroup in overtime, needing only 57 seconds to capture the victory as Mike Melinko scored the winning goal for the Badgers.

Lakehead 4, Waterloo 1

Lakehead avenged a 2-1 loss to the Warriors the night before to dominate Waterloo in a 4-1 victory. The Thunderwolves played strong defensively surrendering only one goal to Warrior, Kevin Hurley while shutting out Waterloo in the last two periods. Captain Joel Scherban, played a strong game for Lakehead with one goal and one assist while teammate Jason Lange contributed two assists helping lead the team to their first victory of the season.

UQTR 5, Ottawa 2

The UQTR Patriotes dominated the Gee Gees, scoring four power play goals in a 5-2 victory. Adam Vaughan and Rob Rideout were the lone scorers for Ottawa against the tough UQTR goalie Dany Dallaire, who stopped 37 of the Gee Gee's shots. Louis Mandeville of the Patriotes led the team in scoring with two power play goals while teammate Pierre Morvan had two assists in the team's first victory of the season. With the loss, Ottawa dropped to 1-1 on the season.

Queen's 2, York 1

Queen's pulled out their second victory of the season over the York Lions 2-1. The Golden Gaels scored the first goal at 15:28 of the opening period but the Lions answered right back as Sean Langdon scored at 18:32 to even the score at 1-1 after one. Queen's Cameron Chapman scored Queen's second goal of the game early in the second period but York was unable to answer as the Golden Gael's goalie Matt Kenney shut the door stopping 36 Lion shots improving their record to 2-0 on the season.

Ottawa 8, Concordia 1

Ottawa came back from an earlier loss in the weekend to crush the Stingers 8-1. Jourdan Legace and Corey MacDonald led the team with two goals a piece while teammates Samuel Seguin and Chris Large played well adding<
