The Lakehead Thunderwolves mens hockey program announced today that centre Peter Cava had decided to leave the team. Cava recorded 25 goals and 50 assists in his two seasons with the team.
Lakehead Head Coach Pete Belliveau said Cava was a valuable member of the team for the past two years. We really appreciate what Peter has done for the program for the past two seasons and I wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
Lakehead Athletic Director Tom Warden wished thanked Cava for his contribution to the program. Its a shame that Peter has decided not to be involved in the Thunderwolves Hockey program anymore as he is an excellent athlete and a good student. I would like to wish him all the best in the future.
