The No.6 ranked Lakehead Thunderwolves will host the Queen's Golden Gaels this weekend at the Fort William Gardens in Thunder Bay. The Thunderwolves go into the weekend with a record of 7-3-0 after sweeping the Ryerson Rams last weekend in Toronto.

Series History:
This will be the first meeting between the two teams.

Thunderwolves Statistically Speaking:
- The Thunderwolves are coming off of a sweep of Ryerson last weekend, winning 7-2 Saturday, and 3-1 Sunday.
- The Thunderwolves lead the OUA in penalty killing, successfully killing 38 of 41 penalties for a PK % of 92.68.
- The team's powerplay stats are 10 for 42 for 23.81%, good for fourth in the OUA.
- Cory MacEachran has a record of 2 win and no losses, 1.00 GAA and 96.0 save percentage. Grant McCune, has a record of7 wins and 1 loss, 2.62 GAA, and 88.95 save percentage.

Lakehead Head Coach Pete Belliveau said Queen's should prove a tough opponent.
"All our scouting reports on Queens are telling us that they have a very solid club with talent and a good work ethic. We will have to be at our defensive best and not take them lightly, but we are looking forward to playing them as we`ve never seem then yet. It will be a very exciting series."

Queen's Golden Gaels Team Info:

The Golden Gaels have an OUA record of 3-7 this season, and second place in the OUA Mid-East Division, 6 points behind first place Toronto. They are coming off a a 6-2 victory over Waterloo last Saturday night and a tough 6-4 loss to Western last Friday night.
